The Villa Maria Hotel & Spa can be reached from the Pescara airport, which is only 8 kilometers far away. Another possibility to reach the hotel is from Rome by train or bus. Buses depart in every 2 hours, with a total 1,5 hours of travel time.
The surroundings offer a great amount of activites: in the summer season the hotel offers a free shuttle to its private beach in Francavilla al Mare, 1.5 km away.
Located at the mouth of the river with the same name, the city of Pescara is the capital city of the province where the famous Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio was born.
