A&O München Hackerbrücke
The hostel opened its gates in 2006 and its lobby was expanded in 2010. Its central location makes it easy to reach by any vehicle. Each of its 200 rooms has its own bath, shower and balcony. The rooftop bar offers a breathtaking view to the city, which makes it the perfect spot to just sit back and relax. For those arriving by car we offer underground parking which stops the never ending search for the right parking spot. The BMW Welt is nearby, for culture-lovers the Deutsches Museum is the perfect choice and you mustn’t skip the New Town Hall, which is located in the middle of the old marketplace, Marienplatz.
A&O München Hauptbahnhof
A&O Munich Hauptbahnhof opened its gates in 2005 right by the Central Station, so it is easy to reach by car, bus and train, as well. Almost all of its 73 modern rooms are equipped with a balcony. Its central location makes it an ideal choice of accommodation to those arriving to the Oktoberfest (you may find the Hofbräuhaus only 2 kms away), or just looking for a little intimacy and tranquility, especially with the Altstadt nearby.
A&O München Laim
The A&O München Laim opens in the autumn of 2014 with 160 rooms. Be among our first guests! In spite of its central location, the hostel is in a calm, silent neighborhood, right beside the Castle Nymphenburg.
Munich, located at the river Isar in the south of Bavaria, is famous for its beautiful architecture, fine culture, and the annual Oktoberfest beer celebration.
Many travelers to Munich are absolutely stunned by the quality of the architecture. Although it was heavily damaged by allied bombing during World War II, many of its historic buildings have been rebuilt and the city center appears mostly as it did in the late 1800s including its largest church, the Frauenkirche, and the famous city hall (Neues Rathaus).
Munich is also a major international center of business, engineering and research exemplified by the presence of two research universities, several multinational companies and worldclass technology and science museums like the Deutsches Museum and BMW Museum.
Munich offers visitors many sights and attractions. There is something for everyone, no matter if you are seeking arts and culture, shopping, fine dining, nightlife, sport events or Bavarian beer hall atmosphere. The listings in this section are just some highlights of things that you should see if you are visiting Munich. The complete listings are found on individual district pages.
